If you plan to visit Shikisai-no-oka,
I highly recommend scheduling it before visiting Farm Tomita.
Otherwise, after seeing Farm Tomita, you might find this place less impressive…

【Hokkaido】Biei Daimaru Curry Udon – だいまる
Daimaru Curry Udon (だいまる) is one of the few famous restaurants in the Biei area.

【Hokkaido】Sapporo Susukino Area – Centurion Hotel (formerly Shintou Hotel)
This Hokkaido trip starts with a one-night stay in Sapporo before we begin our adventures.
So, for this night, we just needed a budget-friendly hotel.
We chose the Shintou Hotel, now renamed Centurion Hotel.
It’s located between Susukino Station and Nakajima Park Station, closer to Susukino Station.
【Hokkaido】Sapporo’s Lively Festivals: Enishi Market and Tanuki Festival
During my 2-day stay in Sapporo, I happened to catch two festivals
One was on 7/21, the Enishi Market in the Susukino area
The other was on 7/28, the Tanuki Festival in Tanukikoji.
However, I was just passing by.
I didn’t sit down for a drink or a bite to eat.
Even worse, the photos I took on 7/28 at the Tanuki Festival were all on my phone.
So the photo quality isn’t great, please bear with me.

【Saga】The World’s Largest Step Kiln – Hiryugama
Hiryugama boasts the world’s largest step kiln, stretching approximately 23 meters and capable of firing 120,000 rice bowls at once.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I could only visit and not participate in any hands-on activities.
I couldn’t make a “Little Stingy Boy” bowl or cup myself…
I hope to come back and experience it someday~
Saga Plum Blossom Viewing Spot – Mifunegaoka Plum Grove
While Fukuoka’s Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine boasts beautiful plum blossoms
the Mifuneyama Rakuen in Takeo, Saga Prefecture, is equally stunning.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, and my photography skills aren’t the best, so please bear with me~
