Aomori Dessert – Apple Pie Stuffed with Whole Apples
I mentioned before that I personally don’t like to eat apples, but if I come to Aomori and don’t eat apples, who would believe it…?!
So, I bought this apple pie to bring back~
But honestly, Aomori’s apple pies (not just this one) are really delicious.
I’ll introduce them again if I have the chance.
This apple pie has won an award….
Its name is “気になるリンゴ” in Japanese, which translates to “Apple Pie that Captivates the Heart” in Chinese.
After opening, it looks like this.

I also want to learn how to cut it open like that, but unfortunately, I can’t stand up.
Let’s take a look at the crust on the outside, it’s not tightly attached to the flesh, but it’s okay to check the texture of the flesh, it feels quite unique, as if it has been specially pressed…
And when you eat this apple, it tastes similar to canned pears…
It’s even sweeter and smoother than regular apples, but it lacks the crisp texture.
It has a completely different taste compared to normal apples, I think it’s even more delicious than regular apples.
However, it removes the middle seed and instead uses flour and apple to create a different texture for the filling, which has a slightly sour taste, somewhat resembling soft cheese.
In addition, this part here is very similar to the core, it is simply made of plain flour… and it tastes a bit like cheese when eaten.

Finally, in my opinion, ★★★★ (4) because I stayed in Japan for two consecutive months this time, I didn’t dare to spend too much money, so I only bought a few things to bring back to Taiwan…
And, this one is really good~ It’s only ¥680.
Although a Aomori apple costs only ¥100 to ¥300, this apple pie has a different texture, so it’s worth recommending.
Compared to the apple pie from McDonald’s, it’s like heaven and earth.
If I have the chance to go to Aomori next time, I will definitely bring one back home again!
