Yu Cuisine Bar – An Affordable Gourmet Restaurant Originating from Zhubei, Hsinchu
Now, we’ve also opened a store near the mega city~~~~~
This time, I visited the Central branch, which doesn’t look like a snack shop at all from the entrance.
Upon entering, you’ll find plenty of seating. The decor is bright and features a light industrial style, creating an overall comfortable atmosphere.
The side dishes section offers both refrigerated and room temperature options, all of which are self-serve.
Additionally, there is a sauce station available for self-service.
I highly recommend their Tiger Mom Chili Sauce. It has a pungent, spicy aroma that is incredibly flavorful.
Other main dishes include noodles, rice, and dumplings, among others.
Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at this noodle house, especially their shrimp dumplings. They were incredibly large and left me feeling super satisfied after just one serving. Plus, the environment was extremely comfortable. For the price of a small eatery, you get to enjoy the ambiance of a trendy, Instagram-worthy spot. This place is truly a gem. They currently have six branches in Hsinchu, making it super convenient no matter where you are. Everyone, start eating here now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The spicy sauce is the restaurant’s unique signature, freshly cooked every day. The aroma of chili peppers combined with the rich meat sauce, topped with a special sauce, makes for an incredibly flavorful dish.
As for the noodles, they are chewy and firm. Each bite is coated with a unique spicy sauce, making it impossible to stop eating bite after bite~~~~~

Bite into it and you’ll find a whole shrimp inside. The shrimp is delightfully chewy and springy, with a ratio of about 7 to 3 compared to the minced meat. This makes it taste even fresher, and it’s all completely authentic!
The dumpling’s skin is thin and generously filled. Paired with its red chili oil, it’s both pungent and spicy, making for an incredibly satisfying bite.

The refreshing clear soup, perfect for a chilly day, warms you up as you sip it. Additionally, the aroma of pepper is very fragrant, making it incredibly smooth to the palate.
The meatballs are quite chewy, with bits of shiitake mushrooms inside, overall the taste is quite good.

This time, I got two types of side dishes (kimchi and pickles).
The acidity of the kimchi is just right, making it a great appetizer before a meal.

“Kaohsiung Fengshan” – A Late-Night Café Serving Delicious Souffles and Generous Portions of Honeycomb, They’re Not Afraid You’ll Overeat!
I thought I was going to have to head into the city again, but to my surprise, it’s actually in Fengshan. 😍
The place seems to have opened not long ago, with quite a new decor. It’s not a large space, but the key point is that it’s open until 11:00 PM, which is quite rare for a café in Fengshan to stay open that late!
It’s so convenient to arrange a food hunt with friends 😂
