In an era where cakes and desserts are constantly evolving,

One can’t help but yearn for the most simple and unpretentious traditional flavors~

This time, driven by a craving, my friend and I drove to Keelung without any particular destination in mind.

I simply queued up to buy mung bean cakes and pineapple pastries, and then bid farewell to Keelung. XD

🔸Green Bean Paste Cake $26 each

The filling inside the green bean cake is quite substantial.

The red bean paste is smooth and moist to the taste.

The sweetness of such a generously filled dessert tends to be perceived differently as we age. XDD

I used to think it was just right,

Now, the thought of having a cup of unsweetened tea to go with it makes it even more yummy.

🔸Pineapple Cake $18 each

The packaging is quite simple and straightforward~ You can tell it’s pineapple cake at a glance XD.

As soon as you open the packaging, the milky aroma of the pastry hits your nose, making no apologies for its boldness.

The filling of the pineapple cake is made from winter melon, not the local pineapple variety.

The crispy and fluffy outer layer combined with the fresh and sweet taste inside.

It’s the pineapple cake filled with traditional flavors that I remember so vividly~

Must-Visit French Dessert Coffee Shop in Luodong

Today, I’m going to introduce a must-visit French dessert café in Luodong, a place that’s been on my bucket list for over a year. By a stroke of luck, I stumbled upon this café, conveniently located on Tianjin Road, near the famous Lin Chang Starchy Meat Soup.
The shop’s location is truly hard to spot, as it’s nestled within a residential area, making it easy to overlook its presence.
And I, on that day, chose the small streets to avoid the main road, and thus discovered true love. The arcade was filled with motorcycles that day, and inside, there was joy akin to a party.
The place was packed with people, it turns out it was Green Feather Coffee’s first anniversary. As soon as I walked in, despite the place being almost full, the owner still noticed my entrance and warmly greeted me!
It made me feel incredibly welcomed right off the bat.
