[Kyoto] Kamogawa River Noryo Yuka – Amore Kiyamachi

This Amore Kiyamachi is located next to the famous Kamogawa River. During the summer, like other restaurants, they set up elevated platforms to create a cool spot by the river. This was my first time experiencing the Kamogawa River Noryo Yuka, and it’s a bit different from the Kibune Kawadoko Nagashi Somen experience. Both are unique summer scenes. If you have the opportunity, I recommend giving it a try. Although Kyoto is hot in the summer, it’s quite cool in the evening with the natural breeze.

Below is the river bed next to Kamogawa River.

The restaurant we are going to eat at, Amore Kiyamachi. I heard it’s a very popular place, but I can’t understand why people come to Kyoto to eat Italian food… XD

Because it’s not yet mealtime, there is no one here yet~

We were the first customers, so we chose a better spot~ (By the time we finished eating, this place was already full… and it was a weekday!)

After the beautiful ladies finished ordering their meals, it was my responsibility to take photos. Since it was nighttime, I could only use flash to take pictures… I have no idea what those four long-shaped breads are.

The taste of the bread dipped in the oil on the side (not sure if it’s olive oil) is quite unique~

I forgot what dish this is, but I only remember it tasted similar to sweet and sour pork. However, I only ate the red bell pepper.

This dish is particularly special. The one on the right is being cooked over a fire, and then the sauce on top is grilled until it’s hot. After that, you can dip the vegetables in the sauce and eat them. However, our group has some “objections” to this dish because eating the vegetables directly is even more delicious than dipping them in the sauce. The sauce has a bit of a fishy taste, and I heard that it contains the flavor of fish (probably fish innards).

So far, the dishes on the menu include these~ And those four drinks are the cocktails we ordered as a group… They taste pretty good~

I don’t even know if I’m eating grass or pizza with this pizza. The topping on it is sesame greens (thanks to matcha dumpling for letting me know). The pizza is baked quite well, after all, it’s handmade and controlling the heat is not easy. However, the skill in kneading the dough needs improvement. In the past, when I was working, this kind of crust would have been criticized.

This spaghetti is quite delicious! Unfortunately, the portion is a bit small.

These are all the dishes that were ordered. I didn’t order anything because I just had a bunch of fries at the comic museum. (Plus, I plan to have a late-night snack later.)

In theory, you still need to have some lanterns to create the feeling of being on a Noryo Yuka… However, this lantern belongs to the next door… XD

Finally, let’s take a look at the beautiful sky~
