The breakfast spot in Chiayi City that locals highly recommend: Xinsheng.
33 Follow the guide of “Hey, what are you doing this week” for a pilgrimage.
The menu offers a wide variety of items such as burgers, scallion pancakes, and egg crepes.
Some unique options include the golden pie, thick-sliced PIZZA, and French toast.
Each series almost always has a Peak Fried Pork Chop flavor to choose from (don’t miss out).

The seating space is much more than I anticipated.
There are probably around ten tables or so. 😳😳
But the place was packed when I went there that day!
What’s even more impressive is that I feel the shopkeeper is incredibly composed.
It’s not like many breakfast shops where the kitchen is a battlefield (all hustle and bustle).
Though not particularly fast, the dishes are still served in a regular manner.

🔻Peak Fried Chinese omelet
The Chinese omelet is a specially made milk germ Chinese omelet.
Stuffed with large chunks of peak-fried pork cutlet inside.🥩.
This flavor is probably impossible to find anywhere else except at Xinsheng Breakfast.
The portion of pork chop is quite generous! Unlike typical breakfast joints where there’s more skin than meat. 🥲
Surprisingly, they even placed an extra piece or two of pork chop on the outside of the egg pancake.
Lettuce paired with a sauce similar to honey mustard.
It’s not cloying and has a hint of spiciness. Highly recommended!👍🏻👍🏻
