Milk Manju Tsukigesho is also a product of Aokishofuan. It is produced by the company that produces “”Osaka cheese cake snacks””. Unfortunately, the delicious Osaka cheese cake snack has been discontinued. However, what has become the company’s best-selling product instead is this Milk Manju called “”Tsukigesho””.
This was bought by my wife, so I only got one, and I didn’t take a picture of the outer box. I only took a picture of the inside.

Personal opinion: ★★★☆ (3.5)
Comment: The filling is quite unique, differing from the typical red bean paste. It is made from Hokkaido’s “Platinum Hour Beans” and “Ingen Beans,” which is quite special. Upon researching, “Platinum Hour Beans” seem to resemble white kidney beans, which is super unique. Additionally, it’s said that the filling also includes condensed milk, egg yolk, and Hokkaido butter.
As for the outer crust, I feel it’s not as well done as Hakata manju; it feels like two different things wrapped together, which is notably distinctive.
PS: Ingen beans, commonly known as green beans or string beans in Taiwan, refer to flat beans in the Kansai region of Japan. So, that’s the story…
