During the pandemic, staying at home, enjoying the air conditioning while indulging in a hot pot meal, is also a delightful choice.
I ordered the double set meal from Stone Two Hotpot: the Duo Pork Feast. I chose the Stone Pot for the soup base, all for a price of $529.
Recently, I ordered takeout from the official website of Shi Er Guo. With a purchase of raw food over $499, they give away a “We’ll Get Through This Together” meal box, a collaboration between Shi Er Guo and Hokto. The box contains mushrooms, tofu, and slices of meat, and the portion is quite generous! The promotion runs until September 30th, with a limit of 130,000 boxes. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
The takeout raw food boxes from Shi Er Guo, whether they are meat or vegetable boxes, are all neatly and cleanly packaged.
The Duo Pork Platter comes with 180g of premium pork belly and 180g of top-grade pork. The slices of meat are all neatly arranged.
The pork has a tender texture, it’s not dry and doesn’t have any gamey taste.
I’ve always been a fan of the vegetable platter at Shi Er Hotpot. It’s clean and gives off the impression of fresh vegetables, and there’s even Korean cabbage at the bottom~
The taro in the hot pot ingredient box is very soft and delicious! The crystal dumplings are super chewy, and it’s okay to cook them a little longer. The only downside is, not all ingredients come in two portions.
The drinks include winter melon lemon slush and sugar-free black bean tea. If you’re worried about gaining weight, you can opt for the black bean tea. It has a subtle fragrance and tastes incredibly healthy.
The dipping sauce comes with satay, scallions, and chili, but no soy sauce. For those who don’t cook at home, remember to ask the restaurant to include soy sauce~
The portion size was quite generous, leaving me feeling very satisfied. I couldn’t finish the udon noodles, so I saved them for the next meal to stir-fry~
Although Stone Two Pot is a budget-friendly hot pot restaurant, they don’t skimp on the quality of their meats and vegetables. The quality is quite impressive!
