The famous triangle building in Aomori Prefecture houses a product hall, a tourist service center, a gift shop, a restaurant, and an observation deck. If you want to buy Aomori’s local specialties and souvenirs, besides A-Factory next to Aomori Station, this is the place to go.
On the way to the Triangle Building in Aomori Prefecture, I encountered heavy snowfall.
Since the journey was long, I took some photos in the car~

Finally, we have arrived at the Aomori Prefecture Tourist Center, also known as ASPAM, located in the Triangle Building.

On the first floor, there is a tourist information center.
Of course, the first floor is not just limited to this, there are also many shops…

You can get the “Visit Japan” card here.
With this card, you can enjoy discounts or free gifts at certain places.

If you want to visit the observation deck on the 13th floor, you need to buy a ticket.
The ticket for just the observation deck is ¥400.
If you want to watch the panoramic film, it is ¥600.
If you want both, it is ¥800.

Arriving at the 13th floor by elevator, you can see the mascot of Aomori Prefecture, “いくべぇ” (pronounced: Ikube), at the counter.

From the observation deck, you can see a small golden pyramid nearby when looking towards other areas.

The nearby harbor here is the Mutsu Bay.

There is so much snow here, and it’s really unusual that there is no floating ice in this harbor.

In general, it is said that this street is one of the streets that will be passed during the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori Prefecture (according to the accompanying personnel).

The highway, one side is icy, while the other side is clear.

This Aomori Bay Bridge is quite beautiful, and it can even rival the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Kansai.

The yellow boat, named Hakkoda-Maru, used to travel between Aomori and Hakodate.
A long, long time ago~ After the train arrives at Aomori Station, it is said to have been transported to Hakodate by this boat.
However, now it is used for tourism purposes~

Finally, when it was time to leave, everyone rushed over to take a group photo with this “いくべぇ” (Ikube) person.

Above is the simple scenery seen from the triangle building observation deck in Aomori Prefecture~
It’s free to enter the triangle building observation deck, but going upstairs, watching a movie, or participating in some hands-on experiences require payment…
