【Hokkaido】Lavender and Sunflower Fields – Zerubu’s Hill

In 2009, I planned to visit Zerubu‘s Hill.
but I didn’t do enough research and couldn’t find it, so I didn’t go~
This time, I was driving myself and accidentally passed by, so I stopped to take a look~
I remember the first time I saw Zerubu‘s Hill was in 2005 when I came to Hokkaido with a tour group, viewing the scenery from the tour bus… and it was through the glass window.
At that time, I thought: Wow~ so beautiful~
(It was my first time traveling abroad, so I was easily amazed…)

This flower field is also free to visit.
According to the official website, they grow lavender and sunflowers.

The flower field here is really Small; it only takes about 20 minutes to walk through.

You can see quite a few sunflowers here, but there are only two small areas, not a whole field.

And the sunflowers are not very tall.

You can rent an ATV here and take a ride around the garden.

The leaves of the lavender here are different from those in other regions, but I can’t tell the varieties apart.

That’s the situation I saw at Zerubu’s Hill this time~
