【Hokkaido】Miyama Pass Art Park and Melon Ice

I had read about Miyama Pass in books a long time ago, but didn’t have much of an impression.
This time, I happened to pass by, so I decided to stop and take a look~
The famous attraction here is this Ferris wheel.

There’s a platform here, and looking ahead, you can see some lavender planted.

Not much lavender is planted.

From a distance, there are many signs….

The front row of lavender here is all occupied by people~
Sendai city of Miyagi Prefecture.

There are so many signs that you might mistakenly think….

The lavender garden here isn’t big,
so I wandered around the nearby shops.

I saw a limited-time offer for ¥800, so I decided to try it.

Huh, what’s on the melon isn’t ice cream
but rather some strange-looking ice?
At least they should have put some mayonnaise on it….XD

The spoon they gave was quite special.

The melon was delicious, unlike Taiwanese melons that turn red but still have hard flesh.
As for the ice, I thought it was too hard.
Next time, I’ll definitely go for the ice cream instead….

Also, while wandering around, I saw this kind of agricultural product. At first, I thought it was a new type of grape.
But after checking, I found out it’s called gooseberry, and it’s said to be a bit sour…
Since it was my first time seeing it, my curiosity wasn’t strong enough to buy and try it~XD

That’s a simple introduction to Miyama Pass.
