In 2020, Japan’s Seibu Railway Group signed a contract with Warner Brothers in the United States, preparing to transform the old Toshimaen amusement park in Nerima, Tokyo into the “Tokyo Harry Potter Theme Park” (Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter). This magical world was created for Harry Potter fans in Asia, and now this theme park is finally ready to meet everyone.

The park features iconic sets from the movies, including Diagon Alley, the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Dumbledore’s office, and Platform 9 ¾, among others. It also showcases a variety of costumes and props, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the fun of the magical world. Stepping into it is like entering the world of Harry Potter, where everyone becomes the star of the movie!

Within the park, you’ll find the “Chocolate Frog” café and restaurant where you can taste the “Butterbeer” straight out of the movies. You can also pick up some unique souvenirs from the gift shop. Unlike the Harry Potter section at Universal Studios, the “Tokyo Harry Potter Theme Park” places a greater emphasis on recreating the movie scenes. It’s a must-visit for all Harry Potter fans!

The “Tokyo Harry Potter Theme Park” is the second Harry Potter theme park in the world, following the Harry Potter Studio in London. Covering an area of about 30,000 square meters, it officially opened on June 16th this year, with tickets available for reservation from March 22nd. The adult ticket price for those aged 18 and above is 6,300 yen (about 1,455 TWD), for junior and senior high school students aged 12 to 17 it’s 5,200 yen (about 1,200 TWD), and for children aged 4 to 11, the ticket price is 3,800 yen (about 877 TWD)!
