From route planning, surrounding merchandise, meals to the overall park planning, everything is meticulously crafted, hoping to bring visitors a multi-layered experience. The adorable deer “BAM BAM” and “LABU” are set to bring you a series of surprises.

This interactive light installation, “Mei Mei Ko Ice Cream”, combines light, shadow, and human detection technology with the physical space within the park, creating an immersive interactive wall that bridges the virtual and the real for visitors. As you approach the window of “Mei Mei Ko Ice Cream”, adorable antlers welcome you! Come closer and through sensing the distance between you and the window, “BAM BAM” and “LABU”, hiding behind the white curtains, will unveil a surprise for you.

In order to provide a better environment for the animals in the park, “BAMBI LAND” has specially constructed a dedicated swimming pool. At any time, you might see animals drinking or playing by the poolside. Usually, the morning is when the sika deer love to swim, while the capybara take their turn in the evening. It’s worth spending a bit more time in the park to catch the sight of a capybara leisurely making its way to the pool – it’s an incredibly adorable sight.

When capybara are on land, their ears stand erect. However, when they swim, their ears flatten against their heads like lids to prevent water from entering. capybara have four toes on their front feet and three on their back, all webbed, and their tails have evolved to the point of disappearance. They are excellent swimmers and divers, capable of holding their breath underwater for up to five minutes.

As we welcome the matcha season in March, “Mei Mei Ko cafe” has specially launched a limited edition series of matcha desserts. Using the premium matcha powder from “Ippodo”, a century-old tea shop in Kyoto, the rich Japanese matcha flavor is combined with the cafe’s popular items to create “Matcha Red Bean Mochi Pancakes”, “Matcha Cheesecake Pudding”, and “Iced Lemon Matcha Bubble Drink” – three matcha superstars.
