[Mie Prefecture] Location of the F1 Japan Grand Prix – Suzuka Circuit

Suzuka Circuit is the venue for the Japanese F1 Grand Prix in Japan. The race takes place every year in October, making this place bustling during the event…

However, it’s not just a race track. It also has an amusement park underneath. When you enter, you will see the entrance of a hot air balloon-shaped cable car.

Here, you can rent wheelchairs, strollers, and other equipment.

Due to lack of time, I only managed to visit the race track. This is at the entrance of the race track where the general public can also enjoy driving go-karts for fun.

When visiting the race track outside of race events, admission is free…

What a large runway!

There are several cars here for test driving. The noise is so loud, it’s deafening…

The tower ahead seems to display the racing time in seconds.

This is the audience seating area.

The race track is 5.8 kilometers long and has a total of 17 turns.

I hopped on the Ferris wheel and looked down. Below me was the go-kart track, where regular people can come and play.

This is the standard track.

Ahead lies paradise.

You can go karting here. As long as you are over 140 centimeters tall, you can drive the simplest type of kart even without a driver’s license. The cost ranges from ¥500 to ¥2500, depending on the type of kart. (Price List)

Even children and mothers come to play.

Back to the amusement park, this mascot looks like a bubble dragon!

By the way, there is a small go-kart track here, specifically designed for young children to enjoy…

At the scene, I saw a 3-4-year-old child riding a bike, so impressive! This track is made of soft padding, so even if they fall, they won’t get hurt. It’s suitable for children aged 3 and above, up to elementary school students. It’s only ¥500, quite a good deal. Plus, they also provide helmets and knee pads.

Above is a brief introduction to the Suzuka Circuit.
