If you have the chance, don’t miss the passionate Kishiwada Danjiri Festival! Its true name is Danjiri Festival (Japanese: だんじり祭) and it takes place every September in the Osaka Senshu area. It is one of the most famous festivals in the area. Each town in Osaka Senshu holds its own Danjiri Festival, but each region has its own unique characteristics. Among them, Kishiwada has the largest scale, while Izumiotsu has a more distinctive form.
When you walk out of the Kishiwada Station on the Nankai Electric Railway, you can see the layout inside the station… This is the characteristic of Kishiwada, ah~
On the posters, all the floats are listed~
Since I came for the pre-festival (Japanese: 前夜祭), which is their trial drag… However, even though it’s a trial drag, you can still see some special scenes… After walking out of the Kishiwada Station, you will arrive at the festival venue. However, because these floats go around the Kishiwada city area, not just around the station. So, take a walk around and you can see different scenes, oh~
Many lanterns
Youth Group…
Such an adorable child~
On the parade route, cars are not allowed, but people can still walk, just make sure to stay to the side.
This festival is mainly about a group of people pulling this float and rushing around… The people on the float are responsible for controlling the direction.
During the rush hour, people in the car will keep bouncing up and down, especially when making turns, they will bounce even more energetically~
The girls here seem to all tie their hair like this.
Before charging forward, the car needs to make a brief stop to allow everyone to get organized.
The people behind are also very important.
Let’s go for it!
Actually, in the city area of Kishiwada, you can see designs related to the “Kishiwada Danjiri Festival”.
Later, we walked into an alley and only then did we realize that the insiders had to come to this side of the alley to see the “spectacular scene” float. It was led by children at the front, followed by young people, and finally the middle-aged.
Every town has its own clothing. This activity can be said to be a festival that brings together the people of Kishiwada.
The houses here are all fenced off, mainly to prevent tourists from standing in this dangerous area.
Wow, it’s so fierce here.
Danger, please be cautious.
Standing at the corner, watching how these floats swiftly dash and turn.
Oops, I bumped into a house ~ >””<
Returning to the shopping street, there are also a lot of people here.
He jumps so high~
Above is the situation that I saw during the eve of the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival~
