Shaun the Sheep is ringing in the New Year in USS Sarsfield! Come join this therapeutic sea party and celebrate the New Year with Shaun the Sheep!
Originally a U.S. Navy destroyer, the USS Sarsfield was transferred to Taiwan on October 1, 1977, where it served for a lengthy 28 years before being officially decommissioned on April 1, 2005. On January 22, 2009, it was towed back from the Zuoying Military Port in Kaohsiung to Anping Port for restoration. Since 2010, it has been open for public viewing, and since 2015, it has been managed by a professional civilian team. The recent appearance of the adorable “Shaun the Sheep” on the USS Sarsfield has transformed it into a charming and whimsical rural scene, making it a dreamy combination that’s definitely worth capturing on camera.
