The Mitsui Group’s large-scale shopping complex, “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport,” is set to make its grand debut in Taichung! The complex is divided into two buildings, the “North Mall” and the “South Mall,” with an estimated 300 boutiques set to move in. The “South Mall” is scheduled to commence trial operations on January 17, 2023, with the most anticipated brands including the Japanese mega-chain supermarket “LOPIA,” and a lifestyle aesthetics concept store, a first-time collaboration between “UNIQLO” and “GU.” The entire complex is slated to officially open in the spring of 2023. A sky bridge connects the “North Mall” and the “South Mall”. The “South Mall” is home to a large Japanese supermarket, well-known clothing and lifestyle brands, and a food street.
