Top Choice for Nagoya Night View: SKY PROMENADE

The first choice for enjoying the night view of Nagoya is Sky Promenade, located near Nagoya Station. In Japanese, it is called スカイプロムナード. It is a tall building approximately 220 meters high, and from the top floor, you can have a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire Nagoya city area.

The story begins here… While on the road, I came across this peculiar manhole cover. According to a netizen named Erika, it is called “Suimi” and it is a design used by the Nagoya Sewerage Bureau.

The building has 46 floors, but the elevator only goes up to the 42nd floor.

The elevator is transparent, so it’s a bit scary and also quite fast.

Reached the 42nd floor.

This design is very unique.

After entering, there is a feeling of being in outer space.

The ticket office is on the other side.

Ticket vending machine, one adult costs ¥700.

Actually, this place is more exciting at night. There are light and mist performances in the evening, with a total of six shows.

This is a height of 220 meters.

There is a helipad on the building in front.

You can slowly walk along the wall from here and continue downwards.

A dark cloud loomed ahead.

You can also see Nagoya Castle here.

Arriving at the next floor.

You can enjoy the night view while sipping on coffee here (for a fee).

On the wall hang cultural heritages from around the world.
