About Kili Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center
The Kili Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center is located in the northern part of Su’ao, Yilan, relatively close to Dongshan Train Station, making it a great addition to a Su’ao and Dongshan day trip. It is the world’s first bubble tea culture center designed with green building concepts. The exterior walls feature the popular “fair-faced concrete” color scheme, complemented by large floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights, allowing natural light to flood most corners of the center.
The Kili Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center is a free indoor attraction in Su’ao, Yilan. Besides the second floor, which showcases the history of bubble tea and some bubble tea-themed art installations perfect for photos, the first floor mainly houses a gift shop and a food and beverage section. Guided Tours and Exhibits at Kirin Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center
The first floor of the Kirin Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center mainly features a gift shop and a food and beverage section, while the main exhibits are located on the second floor.
The second floor of the Kirin Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center introduces the history of bubble tea, including its origins and production methods. There are also some decorations for social media influencers to take photos with oversized bubble tea pearls. However, the exhibit area is not very large and can be toured in about 20 minutes.
Since the Kirin Bay Bubble Tea Culture Center is designed with green building concepts, the staircase corridor from the first to the second floor allows sunlight to pour in through the skylights on sunny days.
